Have you heard? Pope Benedict XVI announced earlier this month that there will be a new public exhibition of the Shroud of Turin (the Vatican owns it) in the spring of 2010. How exciting is that? I've been waiting forever to see it and now finally, I can. Originally the shroud was scheduled to be shown until 2025 but the Bishop of Turin requested permission to show it fifteen years early. The shroud, encased in a climate-controlled glass case, is believed by many to be the linen cloth placed on Jesus Christ at the time of his burial and that his image was recorded on its fibers at the time of his resurrection. Opinions among scientists vary, the Vatican remains neutral on the issue. I think it's a matter of faith. What do you believe?

Imagine waiting until 2025....no way. I'm glad that they will display it in 2010. World Cup is 2010 too. Cool. I would like to see it this exhibition.
WOw this is great news... a better possibility of seeing it in our life-time... not that I don't plan to be here in 2025 however you never know the circumstances.
